Responsibilities

• Provide critical admin, production, research, and logistical support across multiple verticals
• Support the reporting of stories and the production of newsletters and other products
• Write World at a Glance items, Signals, and breaking news stories
• Stay informed on a broad range of issues to identify topics of interest to readers
• Collaborate closely with the editorial team across the organization

Requirements

• Demonstrated interest in high-quality, globe-spanning journalism
• Passion for world events and a broad interest in diverse subjects
• Willingness to take on a variety of tasks including administrative work
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment demanding initiative and flexibility
• Right to work in the UK

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior journalism experience, fellowships, or internships
• NCTJ or other journalism-related education qualifications
• Experience living or working in different countries
• Proficiency in multiple languages
• Experience with data visualization
