Newcastle Airport Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a site operations team ensuring safety management systems are applied consistently
• Ensure safe and compliant operation of airport infrastructure including depot, hydrant, and refuelling systems
• Oversee aviation fuel quality management, stock control, and refuelling operations
• Control operating costs through effective budgeting and expenditure management
• Coordinate capital works, maintenance, and improvement projects
• Manage Joint Venture obligations, audits, reporting, and lease conditions
• Represent the organisation with regulators, airlines, and JV participants

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing budgets and controlling costs
• Proven track record in leading operational performance and service delivery
• Strong people leadership capability with experience motivating teams
• Current Heavy Combination (HC) licence
• Willingness to obtain a Dangerous goods licence and aviation refuelling capability
• Ability to commit to a day shift rotating roster across 7 days a week
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience managing complex contract portfolios and industrial relations
