New Programs Manager

Responsibilities

• Launch new programs, engineering changes, and process changes while coordinating projects across functional departments.
• Direct Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and the Nemak Program Development System (NPDS) to ensure successful program launches.
• Support the preparation of formal quotes, tooling budgets, and capital budgets for new and revised programs.
• Lead manufacturing feasibility analysis reviews and define critical product/process variables.
• Monitor and control program budgets, including the review and approval of purchase requests and supplier invoices.
• Provide product design input to customer designers and conduct feasibility assessments related to manufacturing practices.
• Develop and mentor departmental personnel to increase technical capabilities and service manufacturing needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant field.
• 7-10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Working knowledge of finance.
• Strong organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of HPDC casting or steel stamping processes.
