New Product Introduction Process/Tooling Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturable processes and tooling for liquid cooling solutions, supporting both R&D prototyping and production.
• Design engineering solutions for mechanical, electrical, and electronic parts, subsystems, and integrated circuitry.
• Implement new tooling designs, process parameters, and test plans, including validation of tolerances, reliability, and thermal generation.
• Lead key initiatives to solve issues or reduce risks caused by new technologies or processes.
• Collaborate with management and outsourced development partners regarding design status and project progress.
• Drive root cause evaluation and issue resolution using methods like 8D or CLCA.
• Assist with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) to reduce risk during new product launches.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in a product or process development or production environment.
• Proficiency in using design tools and software packages.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in complex printed circuit board (PCB) or GPU board manufacturing.
• Experience designing mechanical tooling and associated algorithms.
• Knowledge of empirical analysis, modeling, and testing methodologies for hardware and thermal management.
