New Product Introduction (NPI) Technical Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Own NPI launch readiness from early builds through phased rollout, production ramp, and post-launch stabilization
• Define and hold release-readiness gate criteria including design verification and manufacturing process capability
• Create integrated launch plans linking engineering milestones, build schedules, and supplier lead times
• Track and report schedule, cost, quality, and risk metrics to stakeholders
• Evaluate engineering changes for downstream impact across production, supply chain, and fleet operations
• Maintain detailed issue-tracking for builds and drive cross-functional resolution
• Perform compatibility analysis of part design changes to determine supersession and service impact
• Partner with Design Engineering to reduce part proliferation and supply chain complexity
• Perform end-of-life and obsolescence analyses to protect supply continuity

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Aerospace, or related engineering discipline
• 3+ years of NPI, TPM, hardware development, or manufacturing operations experience
• Experience launching complex electromechanical or aerospace systems from prototype to scaled production
• Practical experience with PLM/ECN workflows, ECOs, and failure-mode analysis (FMEA)
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings and BOMs
• Experience with complex hardware systems such as robotics, aerospace, automotive, or medical devices
• Ability to work on-site in South San Francisco, CA
