New Product Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and deliver the methodology for executing new programs to ensure high quality and profitability
• Work with functional leads to identify best practices across disciplines and build a coherent execution plan
• Identify and implement necessary processes, procedures, and systems
• Chair regular stakeholder sessions to manage conflicts regarding timing, outputs, and requirements
• Collaborate with HR and training teams to develop integration programs for the new methodology
• Enable lessons learned and continuous improvement of the product development methodology
• Work with system providers to integrate the authored methodology into company software systems
• Manage a small team of direct and indirect reports to author identified processes and procedures

Requirements

• Experience authoring a new product development process or methodology, preferably in the automotive industry
• Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Program Management
• Strong technical engineering and manufacturing understanding within a premium goods industry
• Demonstrable experience managing a team to achieve a program of work
