New Graduate RN

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective hemodialysis therapy for patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse
• Perform vascular access evaluations, cannulation, and monitor patient response to treatment
• Initiate dialysis treatments according to prescribed orders, including blood and dialysate flow
• Monitor and record vital signs, weights, and pre/post-dialysis evaluations
• Document all patient treatment information and interventions accurately in the patient health record
• Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment by disinfecting dialysis machines and equipment
• Prepare, organize, and utilize medical supplies and equipment efficiently
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing according to required specifications

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program within the past 12 months
• Must obtain a nursing license within 90 days of hire
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and patient movement, including lifting up to 40 lbs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment requiring multitasking and flexibility
• Ability to pass the Ishihara's Color Blindness test
