New Graduate RN

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective hemodialysis therapy to patients with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD)
• Assess patient needs, develop care assignments, and delegate tasks to Patient Care Technicians and other support staff
• Educate patients and families regarding renal disease, vascular access, dialysis therapy, diet, and medication compliance
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and make appropriate adjustments to treatment plans in coordination with physicians
• Perform nursing assessments, initiate treatments, and manage the termination of dialysis sessions
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient vitals, treatment parameters, and physician orders in the Medical Information System
• Manage laboratory-related tasks, including reviewing orders, collecting specimens, and reporting abnormal results to physicians
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary treatment environment in compliance with facility and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program within the past 12 months
• Ability to obtain a nursing license and registration within 90 days of hire (or per state regulations)
• Possession of a current state Temporary Permit
• Must meet all state-specific nursing practice requirements
