New Graduate Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective hemodialysis therapy under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse
• Perform vascular access evaluations, cannulation, and monitor patient response to treatment
• Initiate dialysis treatments according to prescribed orders, including blood and dialysate flow
• Monitor and record vital signs, weights, and pre/post-dialysis evaluations
• Document all patient treatment information and interventions accurately in health records
• Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment, including disinfecting dialysis machines and equipment
• Prepare, collect, and label laboratory specimens for testing
• Report significant changes in patient condition to the nurse supervisor immediately

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program within the past 12 months
• Must obtain nursing license within 90 days of hire
