New Construction Commercial Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Establish and foster long-term relationships with general contractors in Springfield and the surrounding areas
• Meet with decision makers to engineer door solutions for customers’ facilities
• Develop scope of work for each proposal and handle details from initial call to closing the sale
• Achieve sales objectives and track sales leads and activities
• Provide timely and accurate estimates and proposals
• Maintain and update Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) daily

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years outside sales experience calling on general contractors, distribution, or industrial markets
• Strong aptitude for technical applications and/or mechanical systems
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Proficiency with Windows-based programs and sales tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Prior estimating experience generating proposals and submittals
