New Construction and Remodeling Outside Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Proactively reach out to builders, contractors, and industry contacts to generate new business
• Build relationships through cold calls, job site visits, and networking
• Develop and grow a personal book of business
• Meet with customers to understand project needs and provide solutions
• Review building plans and perform material takeoffs
• Prepare quotes and proposals for new construction projects
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure project smoothness
• Follow up consistently with customers throughout the sales process

Requirements

• Comfortable with cold calling and meeting new people
• Ability to build rapport quickly and communicate confidently
• Strong attention to detail and proficiency with math
• Willingness to perform detailed desk work including plans and quotes
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in sales (inside or outside)
• Background in construction or building materials
• Experience in estimating, project coordination, or operations
• Experience working with building plans, estimating, or takeoffs
