About the role
Responsibilities
- Administer the creation, development, and presentation of the Consultative Review (CSCR)
- Review and analyze insurance policies for deficiencies compared to prospect exposures
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of insured business operations and necessary coverage
- Create customized CSCR and maintain standard PowerPoint slides
- Assist Business Development Producers in gathering information for underwriting submissions
- Analyze loss runs to produce loss summaries and deductible analysis
- Negotiate terms and conditions with insurance carriers
- Prepare new business proposals and exposure schedules
- Review contracts, agreements, and financial documents for CSCR preparation
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (Business or Risk Management preferred)
- Minimum of four years of practical experience
- Advanced proficiency in policy wording, terms, conditions, and coverage summaries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Resident State Insurance Producer License and Non-Resident licenses (PA, NJ, MD, DE, NY)
- Ability to work within an agency management system
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
