Neurosurgery Inpatient Advanced Practice Provider

Responsibilities

• Deliver diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative evidence-based care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Partner with a multidisciplinary team of neuroscience providers to support patient outcomes
• Work under the general supervision of a physician to manage neurosurgical cases
• Provide high-quality care during night shift rotations (6 PM–6 AM), including weekends and rotating holidays

Requirements

• Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) certification
• Valid Florida licensure (or eligibility to obtain by date of hire)
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification (AHA or Red Cross)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in critical care or emergency settings
