Neurosurgeon

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions
• Perform elective and emergency neurosurgical procedures involving the brain, spine, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves
• Manage conditions including brain tumors, traumatic brain injuries, spinal disorders, and intracranial hemorrhage
• Interpret diagnostic investigations including MRI, CT scans, and cerebral angiography
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurologists, radiologists, and oncologists
• Supervise and mentor junior physicians, residents, and fellows
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with hospital policies

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• MS/DNB in General Surgery or equivalent
• MCh/DNB/Fellowship/CCT/Board Certification in Neurosurgery
• Valid DOH Consultant license or eligibility
• 8–10 years of post-specialty experience
• Expertise in advanced cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Fellowship training in Spine Surgery, Skull Base Surgery, Neuro-oncology, Pediatric Neurosurgery, Vascular Neurosurgery, or Functional Neurosurgery
