About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build rapport and relationships with regional team members and key external contacts, including HCPs and office staff.
  • Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and product in-servicing to current and potential customers.
  • Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote products and provide patient education.
  • Strategically manage and grow relationships with key accounts by tailoring solutions to meet unique needs.
  • Analyze sales data to create effective territory plans and manage promotional budget funds.
  • Maintain a consistent call average of face-to-face interactions with top target healthcare providers.
  • Adhere to all company compliance policies and guidelines while achieving sales performance goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related field.
  • At least 1 year of full-time, documented business-to-business (B2B) sales experience.
  • Valid US driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel regularly, which may include air travel and overnight or weekend travel.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency with technology for both face-to-face and virtual interactions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in pharmaceutical sales.
  • Knowledge of reimbursement, managed care, or marketing.
  • Experience with new product launches.
  • Broad experience within specific therapeutic areas.
