Neurophysiologist

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of neurophysiological tests including EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies
• Prepare patients for procedures and operate neurophysiological equipment
• Analyse and interpret test data
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to quality control protocols
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with neurologists and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care

Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Clinical Scientist or equivalent
• BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
• Extensive experience in neurophysiology and advanced techniques
• Proficiency in neurophysiological equipment and software
• Strong understanding of neuroanatomy, physiology, and pathology
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
