Neurology Physiotherapist

Responsibilities

• Provide specialised inpatient rehabilitation for patients with stroke and neurology conditions
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised treatment plans
• Implement and evaluate physiotherapy interventions to promote patient recovery and independence
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary Stroke and Neurosciences Team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Participate in team meetings and case conferences
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation

Requirements

• Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation, stroke, and neurology
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work autonomously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
