Neurodiagnostic Technology Faculty

Responsibilities

• Teach curriculum developed by the department within the CAAHEP-accredited Polysomnography Certificate Program
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning through lectures and hands-on training
• Prepare and provide syllabi for all assigned sections in accordance with department policies
• Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies, including modern instructional technology
• Evaluate and return student work in a timely manner to promote learning
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and submit final grade rosters
• Support classroom and online efforts to promote student success in a diverse community

Requirements

• Must hold at least one of the following credentials: R.EEG.T, R.EP.T, R.NCS.T, CNCT, or CNIM
• Minimum of one year of professional work experience as a neurodiagnostic technologist
• Demonstrated skills in using modern educational technology and multimedia-based instruction
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work successfully in a culturally diverse college community

Preferred Qualifications

• Evidence of successful prior teaching experience
