Neuro Physiotherapist

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and interventions in an acute neurosurgical ward
• Manage a caseload of complex patients including traumatic and acquired brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and major trauma
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and nursing staff
• Deliver respiratory care, including suctioning and cough assist

Requirements

• HCPC registration
• Experience working with neurosurgical patients
• Experience in respiratory care (suctioning and cough assist)
• Ability to manage complex brain and spinal injury caseloads
• Band 6 level or equivalent experience
