Neuro Physiotherapist

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments, interventions, and discharge planning for patients with neurological conditions
• Work across various wards including acute stroke, outlier wards, and the Emergency Department (ED)
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and Speech Language Therapists within a multidisciplinary team
• Educate patients and families about the rehabilitation process and management strategies
• Participate in service protocol development and clinical audits
• Provide training and support to junior staff and students

Requirements

• Degree in Physiotherapy
• HCPC registration
• Previous experience working with neurological patients
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to continuous professional development
