About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with neurological conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and provide hands-on therapy
- Provide exercise prescription and patient education
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Manage caseloads efficiently and support junior staff
Requirements
- Degree in Physiotherapy
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in neuro physiotherapy
- NHS experience
- Neuro rehab experience
- SCI rehabilitation skills
- Experience with behaviorally challenging patients or disorders of consciousness
- Knowledge of NHSE rehab pathways
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
