Network Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform leak repairs including excavation, installation of repair parts, backfilling, and cold asphalt resurfacing.
• Execute the creation or renewal of connections and repair sanitation collectors.
• Carry out minor works such as upgrading keyhole covers or renewing cast iron manhole covers on roadways.
• Manage activity reporting by updating operational data via tablet and reporting any observed anomalies.
• Participate in the network on-call rotation for the Biarritz area.

Requirements

• CAP in pipefitting (canalisateur), plumber-excavator (plombier-terrassier), or an equivalent qualification.
• 2 to 3 years of significant experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Valid AIPR certification (Attestation d’Intervention à Proximité des Réseaux).
• Valid Driving License B and C.
• CACES Minipelle certification.
• Strong team spirit, rigor, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of safety rules related to roadwork and water/sanitation network operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Welding qualification, specifically in electrowelding.
• Driving License E.
• Additional CACES certifications.
• Low voltage electrical authorization (habilitation électrique basse tension).
