Network Technical Theater Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical designs and set construction for High School productions
• Streamline production quality and provide design input across the network
• Serve as technical director for flagship network events and festivals
• Manage technical theatre budgets and procurement of goods
• Teach Stagecraft courses and refine technical theatre curriculum
• Manage technical theatre clubs and lead professional development for teachers
• Oversee theatre storage, inventory, and distribution of materials to campuses

Requirements

• Significant experience in scenic design and technical direction for large-scale productions
• Experience teaching technical theatre or stagecraft to K-12 students
• Proven ability to manage logistics for multiple concurrent productions
• Valid Driver’s License for travel between network sites
• Ability to perform physical labor including lifting heavy elements and climbing ladders
• Flexibility to work extended hours during peak production windows
