Network Specialist Virtualization

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor and troubleshoot IP networks
• Administer the structural cabling system
• Perform changes in physical and logical network configuration, including installing and removing devices
• Provide 2nd line support to client's system and network users
• Create and update technical documentation and operating procedures
• Advise on possible network improvements, changes, or upgrades to the infrastructure

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant IT professional experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
• English language proficiency (CEFR B2)
• Cisco CCNA, VMware Network Virtualization, or equivalent certification
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, IP routing, and Ethernet switching protocols
• Knowledge of network services (DNS, DHCP, NTP) and wireless access technologies
• Experience with Cisco routers, switches, wireless controllers, and network firewalls
• Hands-on experience with VMware NSX-T and VMware ESX networking
• Experience with Palo Alto next-generation firewalls and Panorama management
• Proficiency with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switches
• Driving license (Category B) and ability to travel within Europe occasionally
