Network Specialist

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor and troubleshoot IP networks
• Administer the structural cabling system
• Perform changes in physical and logical network configuration, including installing and removing devices
• Provide 2nd line support to client system and network users
• Create and update technical documentation and operating procedures
• Advise on possible network improvements, changes, or upgrades to the infrastructure

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant IT professional experience
• Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent international certification
• Proficiency in TCP/IP protocols, IP routing, and Ethernet switching
• Knowledge of network services such as DNS, DHCP, and NTP
• Understanding of wired and wireless access technologies (WiFi, 802.1x/EAP)
• Experience with application-layer authentication and encryption (HTTPS/SSL/TLS, PKI, X.509)
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, wireless controllers, and firewalls
• Experience administering large enterprise networks
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and IOS endpoint operating systems
• Experience with network-level encryption (IPsec, IKE, DMVPN)
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto next-generation firewalls and Panorama
• Hands-on experience with Infoblox DDI and Cisco Nexus/Catalyst switches
• English language proficiency (CEFR B2 minimum)
• Valid Category B driving license and ability to travel within Europe
