Network Solution Architect

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales and customers to develop tailored solutions
• Participate in customer facing meetings and pre-sales processes to align strategies and determine business and technical requirements
• Provide technical assistance in network planning, engineering, and architecture
• Perform design, research and development of LAN/WAN solutions for SME/Production networks
• Recommend network modifications to configurations
• Provide high-level support and rapid resolution to network problems
• Provide technical leadership within client organizations to review new installations and infrastructure changes
• Provide engineering leadership on design and standards issues, including training and mentoring
• Provide supporting documentation for solutions

Requirements

• Strong Layer 2 & 3 Networking skills
• Cisco certification (CCIE, CCNP, CCNA, CCSP and/or CCVP)
• Experience with Fiber and security technologies
• University degree in Information Systems or Engineering
• Minimum of three years experience in IT project conception, management, and implementation
• Experience creating statements of work and assessment documents
• Bilingual in French and English
• Ability to travel to Toronto
