Network Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Participate in the integration, operations, and sustainment of enterprise class Cybersecurity technologies
• Perform planning and implementation of policy changes on next generation firewalls
• Assist in the analysis and design of worldwide network security architecture
• Administer configuration changes on enterprise load balancers including TLS break/inspect
• Investigate and document security related incidents
• Implement corrective measures in response to emerging network security threats
• Brief senior leadership and government stakeholders on enterprise network security posture

Requirements

• Active Top Secret with SCI clearance (Polygraph preferred)
• Experience with Juniper SRX, Palo Alto Strata, F5 Load Balancer, Cisco FTD/ASA, Gigamon, FireEye, or RSA Netwitness
• DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ minimum)
• Ability to work 100% onsite at multiple government sites in the D.C. metro area
