Network Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network security technologies across data centers, offices, and edge environments
• Operate and maintain network security appliances including Fortinet, Cisco, and Juniper platforms
• Apply DevOps principles and automation tools to build and manage secure network infrastructure
• Support security operations through monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management
• Research emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance the enterprise security posture
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to support global IT services

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in network security
• Proficiency with security platforms such as Cisco ASA/FTD, FortiGate, or Juniper SRX
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, OSI model, routing, and switching
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an IT-related field
• Knowledge of security technologies including VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automation and DevOps tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Python, or GitHub
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and REST APIs
• Experience with AWS or Azure network security services
• Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA/CCNP Security, Fortinet NSE, or CISSP
