Network Security Analyst

Responsibilities

• Monitor and detect suspicious patterns or intrusions by analyzing network traffic, system logs, and system activity.
• Examine security incidents to identify root causes and assess network vulnerabilities.
• Audit network devices, including firewalls and switches, to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Participate in the Incident & Response team to identify and neutralize emerging threats.
• Research new threats and vulnerabilities to recommend security improvements to management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of working experience in a related network security position.
• Hands-on experience with next-generation Firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of network security technologies including Firewalls, IPS, WAF, and VPNs.
• Basic understanding of Windows/Linux systems and Active Directory.
• Analytical, methodical, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of cloud networking security (Security Groups, inbound/outbound rules, network segmentation).
• Entry-level network security certifications.
