About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage Network & Application security devices
- Analyze events and logs originating from security monitoring devices and applications
- Detect and resolve security issues and prepare remediation plans
Requirements
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
- CompTIA Network+ certification with excellent understanding of networking topologies
- CompTIA Security+ certification with excellent understanding of network and application security
- Hands-on experience with Sourcefire IPS/IDS
- Hands-on experience with Bluecoat Proxy, Web Application Firewall (WAF), and Antivirus products
- Excellent understanding of TCP/IP networking and network troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of Big-IP F5 GTM/LTM devices
- Understanding of Checkpoint and Cisco ASA Firewalls
- Understanding of Infoblox DNS
- Understanding of network discovery tools (Fluke) and traffic management tools (Netflow/Sflow) like GigaMon
