Network & Security Administrator

Responsibilities

• Configure, monitor, and maintain network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points
• Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures
• Conduct regular network and security assessments to identify vulnerabilities
• Respond to and investigate security incidents and coordinate resolution
• Manage user access controls and permissions within network systems
• Document network configurations, security policies, and procedures
• Stay current with cybersecurity trends and technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in network administration and security management
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
• Experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA), IDS/IPS, and VPNs
• Familiarity with Active Directory and access management
• Proficiency in troubleshooting network and security issues
• Relevant certifications like CompTIA Security+ or Cisco CCNA preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks like PCI DSS or HIPAA
• Advanced certifications such as CCNP Security or CISSP
