Network Planning Sales Engineer Associate

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-sales and post-sales network architecture and planning for high-throughput satellite networks
• Optimize networks by conducting detailed trade studies across parameters such as digital payload configuration, orbital slot selection, and frequency planning
• Define user coverage areas and optimize antenna systems, gateway locations, and user terminal selection
• Balance technical engineering tasks with customer-facing responsibilities to support business goals
• Collaborate with senior sales engineers through 1:1 mentorship to drive high-impact results

Requirements

• Strong ability to optimize complex systems by managing multiple variables and conducting detailed trade studies
• Process-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency and tool improvement
• Experience with scripting languages, preferably Python
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status is required due to export regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong mathematical aptitude
• Ability to craft and deliver high-quality technical presentations to potential partners
• Capability to succinctly answer challenging technical questions from customers
• Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 10%)
