Network Operations Specialist

About the Company

Cape is America’s privacy-first mobile carrier. Founded in 2022, Cape is building a secure, private mobile network from the ground up to protect personal information and strengthen national security through resilient telecommunications infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test cases for new functionality launches
• Configure devices and create repeatable runbooks for smooth deployments
• Manage trouble tickets, escalate issues, and analyze traces/logs to identify root causes
• Define and document processes for launches and testing
• Lead launch operations planning, including MOPs, rollback strategies, and maintenance windows
• Build and maintain critical systems and 3rd-party tools to automate network operations
• Develop anonymized dashboards for partner MNOs to ensure usage visibility

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in cellular core network deployments
• Ability to analyze cellular system network trace data and packet captures
• Experience drafting MOPs and executing maintenance windows
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and resolving network outages
• Ability to interpret technical telco documentation and industry terminology
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Agile practices and Jira
• Experience working closely with telco infrastructure vendors
