About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of engine shop visits at the Delta Tech-Ops facility to meet customer requirements and business objectives
  • Monitor and communicate daily progress against near-term delivery commitments and annual plans
  • Facilitate the resolution of issues impacting maintenance activities and manage communication between the facility and customers
  • Verify and quantify site capabilities, capacity, and growth plans
  • Ensure compliance with GTF MRO Network policies and contract requirements
  • Collaborate with the cost management team to execute commercial strategies for cost reduction
  • Develop standard work for interactions between the facility and Pratt & Whitney/IAE

Requirements

  • Advanced degree and 7+ years of experience in Operations, Engineering, Production Control, Supply Chain, Materials Management, Quality, Aerospace, or Aftermarket industry; OR Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Knowledge of AS9100 QMS and FAA regulations
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Proficiency in SAP ERP and Solumina MES

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in a STEM field, specifically Engineering, Supply Chain, or Management
  • Experience in Aftermarket Operations (AMO) or MRO environments
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate teams, including experience with bargaining unit/union workforces
  • Working knowledge of Pratt & Whitney engine shop practices and quality standards
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Smartsheet, Teamcenter, and virtual meeting platforms
