Network Operations Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize hardware technologies to maintain network performance and capacity
• Perform day-to-day troubleshooting of multi-vendor equipment, resolving software and hardware issues
• Monitor the performance and health of optical and IP networks using advanced management tools
• Conduct root cause analysis for network outages and provide detailed reports and solutions
• Address network traffic issues and respond to queries from cross-functional partners
• Collaborate with global service providers, colocation facilities, and ISPs to ensure seamless operations
• Support network infrastructure projects and new network initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) and 5 to 8 years of related experience in network operations
• Proven experience in optical networking (DWDM, CWDM)
• Strong knowledge of IP networking (IPv4/IPv6, MPLS, BGP, OSPF)
• Comprehensive understanding of fiber-optic technology, including cable, connector, and optic types
• Experience preparing root cause analysis reports for network and server outages
• Strong communication skills for effective global collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a multi-vendor network environment
• Relevant network certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIP, or OCA
