Network Operations Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure across datacenter and NOC environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues involving switches from multiple vendors including Arista, Celestica, Cisco, Nvidia, and Accton
• Respond to incidents and outages quickly, providing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network outages and resolve issues
• Document network changes, incidents, and resolutions for knowledge sharing and compliance
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously to ensure critical issues are addressed promptly
• Provide guidance and act as a resource for fellow team members and peers

Requirements

• 2+ years of NOC experience in a datacenter or large-scale network environment
• Strong knowledge of network switches and protocols such as Ethernet, TCP/IP, and VLANs
• Experience with network vendors like Arista, Celestica, Cisco, Nvidia, or Accton
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and high attention to detail
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certifications
• Knowledge of datacenter best practices
• Proven ability to multi-task various issues and assignments
