Network Operations Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot datacenter network infrastructure, including rack and spinal switches
• Perform rack configuration tasks to ensure optimal network performance and reliability
• Respond to network incidents and outages, providing rapid diagnosis and resolution in a NOC setting
• Process and manage technical documentation, including network diagrams and configuration files
• Handle RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) requests and coordinate hardware replacements with vendors
• Maintain accurate records of network assets, incidents, and vendor communications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support datacenter operations and network projects

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in Datacenter Operations and/or Network Operations Center (NOC) roles
• Strong troubleshooting skills for rack switches, spinal switches, and rack configurations
• Familiarity with network hardware and protocols
• Experience processing technical documentation and RMA requests
• Proven ability to work with vendors such as Arista, Cisco, Juniper, Celestica, and Nvidia
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CCNA, JNCIA, or equivalent
• Knowledge of datacenter best practices and operational standards
• Ability to multi-task various issues and assignments
