Network Manager II

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructures supporting mission-critical operations and training environments
• Manage and administer network technologies including routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, VPNs, and VLANs
• Support both physical and virtualized network environments to ensure availability, performance, and security
• Monitor network operations, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and implement corrective actions
• Develop and maintain network policies, procedures, standards, and documentation
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, systems, and engineering teams to ensure secure network design and compliance
• Perform network capacity planning, configuration management, and lifecycle support for hardware and software

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret Clearance
• Meet DoDM 8140.03 IAT II requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of networking experience
• Expert knowledge in designing and configuring computer networks (routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, VPNs, VLANs)
• Experience with bare metal and virtualized systems
• Demonstrated experience providing enterprise network engineering for campus area network facilities
