Network Leak Detection Technician

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret data from remote management systems and network sensors
• Detect and locate leaks using innovative technical tools
• Intervene in specific cases such as pipe bursts, pressure losses, or water shortages
• Perform leak detection searches, including night shifts, to minimize water loss
• Install, program, and operate mobile and fixed data loggers
• Participate in network maintenance operations, including water shutdowns, draining, and water restoration
• Monitor equipment condition and report any anomalies
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure service continuity

Requirements

• Degree in water management (BTS Gemeau, water trades, or equivalent) or significant experience in drinking water network operations
• Solid knowledge of hydraulics and network management
• Proficiency in IT tools and GIS (Geographic Information Systems)
• Strong skills in consumption analysis and reading network plans
• Valid driver's license (Permis B)
