Network & IP Collaboration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Cisco-based LAN/WAN solutions with a focus on IP collaboration tools including VoIP and video conferencing.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco network devices such as routers, Catalyst/Nexus switches, and wireless access points.
• Implement Cisco QoS (Quality of Service) to prioritize voice and video traffic and minimize latency.
• Manage Cisco Unified Communications (CUC) solutions, including CUCM, Cisco Expressway, and CUBE.
• Deploy and maintain video conferencing solutions using Cisco TelePresence and WebEx.
• Implement and enforce security measures for collaboration platforms using Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls.
• Monitor network health and collaboration traffic using tools like Cisco Prime, DNA Center, and Fortinet FortiManager.
• Document network configurations, security setups, and incident resolutions.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in network engineering and collaboration technologies.
• Proven expertise in Cisco-based VoIP, video conferencing, and unified communications.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet FortiGate firewalls.
• Proficiency with Cisco CUCM, WebEx, and Cisco TelePresence systems.
• Strong understanding of IP routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNA or CCNP certification (Routing & Switching or Collaboration).
• PCNSE or Fortinet NSE certifications.
• Experience integrating Cisco collaboration platforms with third-party tools like Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
• Cisco Certified Specialist - Collaboration certification.
