Network Evaluator-Principal

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities and investigate cyber threats to protect enterprise networks
• Conduct network defense activities and provide actionable security recommendations
• Support Computer Network Defense (CND) and defensive cyber operations
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and cybersecurity analysis
• Support incident response and network security investigations
• Research system vulnerabilities and develop effective mitigation strategies

Requirements

• TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
• Bachelor of Science in Network Engineering or related field with 11 years of experience (or equivalent combination of advanced degree or military training)
• Experience supporting Computer Network Defense (CND) or defensive cyber operations
• Experience conducting vulnerability assessments and cybersecurity analysis
• Experience supporting incident response and network security investigations
• Strong understanding of network protocols, packet analysis, and enterprise networking concepts
• Experience working with SIEM platforms
• Practical experience using Splunk and Elasticsearch/Elastic

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with network analysis tools like Wireshark or tcpdump
• Knowledge of digital forensics, IDS, and vulnerability scanning technologies
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• Experience developing automation scripts in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CySA+, GCIH, GCIA, GCFA, or CISSP
