Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, secure enterprise network infrastructures using Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms.
• Manage and optimize complex routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and EVPN.
• Deploy and maintain F5 load balancing solutions, including custom iRules scripting for application resilience.
• Troubleshoot critical L2/L3 connectivity issues, hardware failures, and VPN disruptions.
• Enforce network security using IPSec, 802.1x, TACACS+, and firewalls.
• Support multicast technologies such as PIM, MSDP, and Anycast-RP for manufacturing environments.
• Lead network upgrades, hardware refreshes, and migration projects with minimal downtime.
• Document network operations, including diagrams, configuration records, and SOPs.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership to the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in large-scale enterprise network operations.
• CCNP Enterprise or CCIE certification (current or expired within the last 3 years).
• Proficiency with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms.
• Extensive experience with routing protocols and multicast (PIM, MSDP).
• Must reside within a 1-hour drive of Taylor, TX and be able to work onsite 5 days per week.
• Bilingual skills (English/Korean) are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting 24/7 manufacturing environments.
• Expertise in high availability environments and server network connectivity (VPC, LACP).
• F5 Load Balancers or Palo Alto Firewalls certification.
• Experience with Packet Capture Analysis and SSL certificates.
• Familiarity with Python, Ansible, or other network automation tools.
