About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance for CBRN detection, warning equipment, and networked defense architectures.
- Review and analyze design packages for emergency management response and equipment installation at military bases.
- Develop, implement, and monitor cybersecurity protocols for networked CBRN defense architectures.
- Evaluate and resolve hardware, software, and obsolescence management issues for critical CBRN sensors and technologies.
- Coordinate software suite certification and system integration with individual software vendors.
- Execute vulnerability assessments and analyze T&E data across major acquisition phases.
- Manage the completion and briefing of necessary acquisition and test documentation to executive-level stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical field of study.
- 10+ years of relevant experience (exceptional candidates with less experience may be considered).
- Extensive CBRN-related technical discipline (e.g., computer science, electrical engineering).
- Experience in the development, planning, and implementation of networked data transmission architectures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for technical documentation.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain or maintain an active Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience overseeing cost, schedule, and performance metrics for complex DoD defense and surveillance programs.
- Proven background in planning and analyzing T&E events for chemical and biological sensors in hazardous environments.
- Demonstrated success collaborating with entities such as ATEC, MSCOE, DTRA, or the Chemical and Biological Defense Program.
- Experience in acquisition strategy development and supporting high-level briefings to SES stakeholders.
