About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain internal platforms and infrastructure for Branch/Edge IT, including network, compute, and storage.
- Maintain and optimize network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
- Design, implement, and manage automation workflows for device onboarding, configuration compliance, and auto-remediation.
- Develop and integrate monitoring systems to detect anomalies and trigger automated responses.
- Ensure network devices adhere to security and configuration standards through automated checks.
- Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for automation and reliability enhancements.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Information Systems, IT, Network, or a closely related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in network design, deployment, and automation.
- Hands-on experience with network automation tools including Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Proficiency with version control systems, specifically Git, for managing infrastructure-as-code.
- Experience with observability and logging tools (e.g., Datadog) and familiarity with SRE practices (SLO/SLIs, Golden Signals, MELT).
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching (Cisco/Juniper) and the BGP protocol.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with wireless and firewall technologies.
- Knowledge of network transport technologies such as VSAT, MAN, and MPLS/IPVPN.
- Familiarity with network management features including QoS, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with global teams.
