Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, administer, and support global network infrastructure
• Research requirements and interact with internal and external stakeholders to implement and deploy network solutions
• Participate in the implementation, operations, and troubleshooting of the global network
• Apply broad knowledge of network administration to diagnose and resolve complex network problems

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a network engineering role focusing on enterprise network design and administration
• Proficiency with routing and switching in Cisco or Arista environments
• Experience with Next Gen Firewalls, specifically Palo Alto or Fortinet
• Experience with Meraki WiFi technologies
• Detailed knowledge of BGP and OSPF network routing protocols
• Experience with Multicast routing concepts, including PIM and IGMP
• Experience with network management protocols such as SNMP, TACACS, Netflow, and Sflow
• Experience supporting Linux infrastructure

Preferred Qualifications

• Automation mindset with experience in Python and Ansible
• Knowledge of network overlay concepts such as VXLAN and eVPN
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS and Azure
• Experience with network disaster recovery planning
• Background in Financial Services
