Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage networks using Cisco Meraki products (MX, MS, MR, MV)
• Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, and routing
• Monitor network performance using the Meraki Dashboard and third-party tools
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN issues, connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks
• Implement network security policies including IDS/IPS and content filtering
• Manage wireless networks, including SSIDs and RF optimization
• Perform firmware upgrades, backups, and documentation of network changes
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors for incident resolution

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 3–7 years of experience in network administration or analysis
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki cloud-managed solutions
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
• Proficiency in VLANs and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP basic knowledge)
• Experience with firewall configuration and VPN technologies
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification
• Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist (CMSS) certification
• Experience with hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud like AWS/Azure)
• Knowledge of scripting/automation (Python, APIs)
• Exposure to SD-WAN concepts
