Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure
• Install and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
• Manage routing, switching, VPN, and network security environments
• Design, deploy, and support temporary event networks for exhibitions and sporting events
• Provide onsite support during live event operations and de-rig periods
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for network connectivity and performance issues
• Create and maintain detailed network diagrams and documentation using Microsoft Visio
• Monitor network performance and availability to ensure maximum uptime

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in network deployment and support
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, switching, VLANs, and VPN technologies
• Experience with firewall configuration and network security
• Proven ability to design and support wireless deployments and heatmap surveys
• Experience working in enterprise, multi-site, MSP, or event-based environments
• Proficiency in creating technical documentation and network diagrams

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Networking, or Computer Science
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet, Ubiquiti UniFi, Cisco/Meraki, Aruba, or Peplink
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE/FCP, or Aruba
