Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end network design, deployment, and operations for AI and compute lab clusters
• Serve as a primary networking point of contact for backend fabrics, including Arista and internally developed network OS-based scale-out networks
• Design and support high-throughput, low-latency cluster networking, including congestion management (PFC/ECN) and RDMA validation
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across L1–L4 using packet captures and telemetry
• Develop and maintain network automation, configuration templates, and zero-touch provisioning (ZTP) workflows
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems teams to validate new platforms, optics, and network designs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field
• 6+ years of experience designing, deploying, and operating network infrastructure in production or lab environments
• Experience in multi-vendor environments, including Arista and FBOSS-based platforms
• Strong knowledge of L2/L3 protocols, including BGP, OSPF, STP, TCP/IP, and EVPN/VXLAN
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python or shell for automation and tooling
• Experience with configuration management and zero-touch provisioning (ZTP)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting AI/ML or high-performance compute clusters in lab or pre-production environments
• Hands-on experience with backend cluster networking, scale-out fabrics, and RDMA networks
• Experience with network automation, CI/CD pipelines, and validation tooling
• Knowledge of physical infrastructure design, including structured cabling and power/cooling systems
• Experience with disaggregated networking products such as SONiC or Cumulus Linux
• Networking certifications such as CCIE or JNCIE
