Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN)
• Translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
• Develop and deliver briefings, technical presentations, and documentation to government personnel

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance (must undergo CI poly upon hire)
• Knowledge of Cisco Routing and Switching and network architecture planning
• Knowledge of remote administration and secure Virtual Private Networking
• Understanding of commercial encryption standards in IP networking
• Knowledge of VPN technologies, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and IP Multicasting
• Familiarity with GEMONE Taclane encryption management, Cisco Firepower, and Cisco ISE DNA Center

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to navigate and configure Linux operating systems
• Understanding of wired data transport mediums including Category 5e/6 and fiber optics
• CCNA or CCNP certifications
