Network Engineer Level III

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize secure wireless LAN solutions
• Support Cisco wireless, Cisco ISE, MSE, WLC, Prime, and AnyConnect environments
• Implement secure guest wireless and BYOD solutions
• Integrate network security tools to support visibility, monitoring, access control, and enforcement
• Troubleshoot complex LAN, WAN, and wireless issues
• Support network performance, availability, and security for mission-critical environments
• Develop and review secure network configurations, diagrams, procedures, and technical documentation
• Support enterprise architecture design reviews, engineering meetings, and change management

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required
• DHS EOD / suitability required
• 10+ years of experience designing and optimizing Wireless LAN systems for Government or complex enterprise environments
• Subject Matter Expert-level experience with Cisco wireless technologies (ISE, MSE, WLC, Prime, AnyConnect)
• Experience with RF shared-medium challenges
• Experience implementing secure BYOD and guest wireless solutions
• Experience applying federal information security policies and practices
• Proficiency with tools such as ForeScout, Cisco ISE, Stealthwatch, and Splunk
• Advanced network engineering experience with complex LAN, WAN, and wireless systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Cisco certification (CCNP Security, CCIE Security, CCIE Wireless, or CCIE Data Center)
• Experience with Cisco Nexus, IOS, FlexPod, Corelight NDR, IDS/IPS, and firewalls
• Experience with Cisco Prime or SolarWinds Orion
• Knowledge of Zero Trust Network Access, SASE, and network segmentation
• Prior DHS, DOD, or federal network security engineering experience
